We are proud to announce our Chief Creative Officer, David Weinstock, will be a judge for the 2017 Clio Awards! David will be on the Public Relations Jury, serving alongside other professionals judging innovation and creative excellence in advertising, design, and communications for the awards.
This month, we partnered with RewearAbles, a green program created by ACLD to provide sustainable employment for people with developmental disabilities. The brand helps by keeping unwanted clothing out of landfills and instead getting them into the hands of those who can reuse the materials.
The Dunkin’ Boston team celebrated an exciting award this month, receiving a Silver Bell Ringer Award at the annual Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringers. We were recognized in the best Guerrilla Marketing category for our giant mosaic of Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, created using 10,000 donuts. This sweet send off honored Ortiz in recognition for this recent retirement.
RF|Binder was also recognized at the Big Apple Awards Ceremony with our Rockefeller Foundation Insight Dialogues campaign, winning the 2017 Big Apple Award for Digital Media. We also received two honorable mentions in Integrated Communications and Media Relations!
Our Wines of Germany team has been hard at work. Members of the team staffed a dinner at the James Beard House hosted by the Harlem Eat-Up Festival. Five of Harlem’s top culinary talents prepared a multi-course meal for an audience of epicureans, as well as prominent chefs and culinary influencers. As the exclusive wine sponsor, Wines of Germany presented an array of wines during the event. Congrats to our Food and Beverage team for helping to host a successful, fun event!
National Donut Day was a hit for our Dunkin’ Donuts Corporate team. The team generated coverage for the brand across a number of initiatives, including new menu item launches, a free donut offer, national Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee sampling day, and much more. In addition, in the days leading up to the Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee tasting event, RF|Binder helped Dunkin’ Donuts surprise 16 lucky guests across the counter with a $1,000 check as part of “Freeze the Day with $1K giveaway.” Some of the fantastic features secured in the past weeks include USA Today, Business Insider, Fox & Friends, and TheStreet.
