Staples Inc., a Massachusetts-based retail company, has announced that they will be launching a quarterly magazine. The magazine will be called Staples Worklife and will cater to professionals who are interested in optimizing their work life.

Vice Media is in talks to buy women-focused publisher Refinery29, according to people familiar with the matter, a deal that would unite two of the largest venture-backed media companies in the U.S.
NBC and Sky News Partnership
NBC News has officially announced its partnership with Comcast-owned, UK-based Sky News — in a bid to take on CNN, Page Six has learned. Andy Lack and Deborah Turness used the annual NBC News town hall event to unveil the worldwide news network, which will launch in 2020.

Shift in Ad Spending
Feeds are still the dominant ad placement within Facebook. But ad buyers say they’re seeing more of a shift to Stories, in particular, Instagram Stories, over the last year. The best performing ads on Instagram Stories for direct responses are five-second boomerang videos with a poll. That’s followed by a 10-second user-generated review of a product.
Chipotle’s TikTok Strategy
Chipotle is kicking off its second TikTok “challenge” of the year. The company wants consumers to dance for free guacamole from now until National Avocado Day on July 31, by posting videos of them dancing on the short-form video app under the hashtag #GuacDance. The chain was the first restaurant to partner with TikTok in the U.S. earlier this past spring, which led to Chipotle’s highest digital sales day, according to Stephanie Purdue, vp of brand marketing for Chipotle.
