Despite it being summer, it’s been quite eventful around the office: we launched the second video for Pax World, helped Wines of Germany kick off an exciting new campaign, and have been named a finalist for several awards! Read a full update below –
We got word that RF|Binder is a finalist in a number of categories for PR News Agency Elite Awards for TerraVia, including Business to Business, Consumer Marketing, and Digital/Social Media.Additionally, our campaign for the Rockefeller Foundation is a finalist for the Digital Communications category for the PR News Platinum PR Awards.
Much to our excitement, The Grove has been named a finalist in PR News’ Agency Elite Awards in the category of Agency Team of the Year due to their outstanding work! When David Weinstock started at RF|Binder, we had a very small creative team, and over the past couple of years he has built an outstanding team and developed impactful work across all of RF|Binder’s practice areas. The winners will be announced at an awards luncheon on Thursday, September 14th.
We said goodbye to our fantastic summer interns, who received hands-on account experience, internal trainings on all things PR, and a chance to create campaign proposal! Before they left, the RF|Binder Summer Intern Class of 2017 wrote their own blog post about the experience.
Our Food & Beverage team supported the launch of new Dewey’s Bakery products earlier this summer at the Summer Fancy Food Show in NYC by conducting extensive media outreach leading up to the show and secured interviews to discuss the brand launch with top trade outlets, including Food Navigator and Bakery & Snacks.
On July 1st, they also helped Wines of Germany launch WeinCraft, the new summer-long campaign highlighting the distinct quality, unique versatility, and artistry of German wine with special promotions at restaurants and retailers nationwide. This is the first time in nearly a decade that Wines of Germany is expanding the traditional ‘Summer of Riesling’ campaign to include other German varietals in a multi-location restaurant and retail shop promotion. The team created a fully integrated campaign, tapping The Grove to develop the program’s name and branding. “WeinCraft” was chosen because of its distinctly German and craft-centric name that underscores the inimitable quality that distinguishes German wines. Our Financial Services team secured a feature piece for Pax World in the July 8 issue of Barron’s, “Wonder Women: Capitalizing on Gender Equality.” The piece focuses on gender equality and showcased Joe Keefe, Pax’s CEO, Pax World, and one of its funds alongside some very good company including BNY Mellon, Neuberger Berman, and State Street Global Advisors. Along with The Grove, the Financial Services team also launched Pax World’s second video called, “Investing is Your Superpower”. The video explains how investing can be your “superpower” for creating the change you want to see in the world, such as fighting climate change and promoting gender equality. This is Pax World’s second video this summer after “Invest Like A Feminist”.
