Thomas PrattSenior Managing Director
Thomas Pratt’s responsibilities at RF|Binder include strategic consulting and development of communications programs in capital markets and corporate communications for clients in a broad range of industries. Pratt has 20+ years experience in the investment community as a securities analyst, financial journalist, and investor relations consultant.
Prior to joining RF|Binder Pratt served in the investor relations department of Ruder Finn, Inc. Previous to that he was a senior consultant with Lundy Associates, Inc., an investor relations firm, where he participated in all aspects of the firm’s activities, creating customized IR programs for small- and mid-cap companies in the alternative energy, telecommunications, restaurant, insurance brokerage and industrial equipment industries, among others.
Before working in communications consulting, Pratt was senior editor at Investment Dealers’ Digest, the weekly newsmagazine covering Wall Street. He also edited Going Public: The IPO Reporter, an affiliated newsletter on IPOs. Before his work as a journalist, Pratt worked as a securities analyst for Value Line Investment Survey and on the sell side with Mabon, Nugent & Co.
Mr. Pratt holds a BA in economics from Amherst College.
