Joe FisherSenior Counsel
Joe Fisher has been creating marketing, advertising, and public relations programs for clients for over 20 years.
Fisher had been president and chief executive officer of Burson-Marsteller – USA and a member of that firm's worldwide executive board. Previously, he served as executive vice president at Ruder Finn, Inc. From 1988 through 1997, he led Fisher & Company, a communications consultancy that specialized in the strategic issues of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, he was chairman and chief executive officer of Fisher Jackson Levy and Flaxman, an advertising agency he founded in 1978. Fisher began his career at Grey Advertising and Ted Bates following service as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
Fisher’s work for clients includes aggressive brand marketing campaigns for fashion, financial, and entertainment clients. He pioneered the use of high profile entertainment events for marketing promotions and was among the first to integrate public relations into the marketing plan as an equal and coordinated partner to advertising. Fisher earned a BA in Economics at Fordham University and an MBA with a concentration in marketing at Columbia University.
