Amy Binder, CEO and founder of RF|Binder, focuses on ensuring that each client receives consistent, quality service and has continual access to the agency’s best creative and strategic thinking. Binder’s specific expertise is developing communications campaigns that are integrated with a client’s overall marketing strategy. She believes that by applying effective, results-driven processes across the firm, encouraging research-based strategic counsel and creating a symbiotic approach across communications channels, RF|Binder can create extraordinarily successful client-agency partnerships.

Binder brings 25+ years of experience developing award-winning corporate reputation and branding programs. Before founding RF|Binder, she was President of Ruder Finn Americas, where as a result of her leadership, Marketing Computers selected the firm in 2000 as “Agency of the Year.” Previous to work with Ruder Finn, she was director of communications for New Rochelle, New York. She received her MBA in finance from Columbia University and her AB with honors from Brown University. A published photographer, she also studied at Rhode Island School of Design and the Center of the Eye in Aspen, Colorado.

Binder has spoken at numerous communications industry events, regularly serves on leading industry awards judging panels, and frequently lectures at major universities. She has written numerous articles on public relations and related topics. She is a partner of the Ruder Finn Group, a member of advisory board of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business E-Business Initiative, and a board member of the Public Relations Institute.
