America runs on Dunkin’, but what does Dunkin’ run on? A passion for social media, it seems. The Canton-based coffee giant has built a killer social media strategy, engaging millions of customers across multiple networking sites, from Facebook to Pinterest.
Of course, there’s something about those 140-character sound bites that simply make Twitter our favorite platform, and Dunkin’ Donuts is doing a great job of feeding our obsession (also feeding us literally with Munchkins, too). The brand has several handles, a national account, @DunkinDonuts, that boasts over 150,000 followers, as well as regional accounts like @DunkinBoston which boasts 11,000 followers.
